Thin Crust Pizza
Recipes » Main Dish » Pizza and Calzones
This pizza is so easy to make and it requires very little time to prepare. It is an ideal snack, appetizer or even light lunch for people on the go. It has become my husband's favorite pizza! The neat thing about this pizza is that you can get as creative as you want. You can make a cheese, a vegetarian, a meat lovers , or even a combo pizza. How about a gourmet pizza using high quality ingredients (various cheeses and meats)? Pizza margherita a favorite of mine...basil, cheese and thinly sliced tomatoes....yummm!
"I loved the idea of using tortillas for the crust instead of waiting an hour for the dough to rise! I used slices of fresh mozzarella with some crushed basil and oregano, tomato slices and olives. The boyf and I really loved the idea but felt that adding a thin layer of tomato sauce would have been perfect. I didn't use olive oil but canola oil spray to take off the calories. I will be trying this again to play around with the flavor combinations. Thanks for posting!" - pineapplebutterYield: 4 Ready in 15 minutes
