A new favorite that has replaced pumpkin pie at the Enata Family Thanksgiving Feast. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream . . . YUM!!!

Original recipe makes 10
Crust:
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 cupbutter; melted
1 egg
filling:
2 Eggs
2/3 cupevaporated milk
1 canpumpkin; (1 lb)
3/4 cupSugar
1/2 tspvanilla
1/2 tspSalt
1 1/2 tsppumpkin pie spice
Topping:
1 cupcake mix; (saved from crust)
1/2 cupSugar
1 tspcinnamon
1/4 cupButter

Pumpkin Dessert Preparation

Grease bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.

Crust: Empty cake mix in a bowl and reserve 1 cup for topping.

Add butter and beaten egg. Press into bottom of pan.

Filling: beat eggs slightly; add evaporated milk and stir. Add remaining filling ingredients. Stir until smooth. Pour over crust.

Topping: Cut together topping ingredients; sprinkle over filling.

Bake at 350 degree (325 degree in glass pan) for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
