Arroz a la Cubana

|1 tablespoongarlic; minced|
|1 smallonion; chopped|
|1 mediumtomato; chopped|
|1 lbground beef|
|3 tablespoonsSoy sauce|
|1 cupsweet peas; (optional)|
|1 cuppotatoes; cubed (optional)|
|3 ripe plantain bananas; sliced and fried in oil|
|4 Eggs; cooked sunny side up|
|4 cupsRice; cooked|
Arroz a la Cubana Preparation
1. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons oil and saute garlic until light brown. Add onions and cook until transparent. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in ground beef and soy sauce. Add potatoes. Cook until meat is brown. Add raisins, salt and pepper and stir constantly. Add peas and simmer for another 5 minutes.
2. In a large serving platter, arrange cooked rice with meat in the center. Top with fried eggs and surround side of platter with fried bananas.
