| 1 1/2 cupsSugar |
| 3/4 cupbuttermilk |
| 1/2 cupbutter; (or margarine) |
| 2 tablespoonscorn syrup |
| 2 teaspoonsvanilla extract |
| 1 teaspoonbaking soda |
Buttermilk Syrup Preparation
In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil - except for the vanilla extract. Allow to boil gently for at least five minutes. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the vanilla.
