Ready in 30 minutes
A quick easy and filling dinner option. Great as leftovers as well.
"Made this for dinner and we loved it! Only changes I made were I used a partial packet of the ranch seasoning and added a few sprinkles of fiesta ranch; also o used diced tomatoes with green Chiles but only a half a can so it wasn't overly spicy for my kids, I traded light red kidney beans for the black beans and used half a can bc my kids don't care for beans usually. Served with cheese and taco chips and sour cream. Yum!"- Supermomoftwo4ever

In a large pot, brown the ground beef. Add corn, tomatoes, black bean, taco seasoning mix, ranch dressing mix, and water. Add additional water for soupier consistency.
Top with cheese, sour cream, and doritos
lorieichstedt 1 month agoThis was a lot better than expected. I added the sour cream, chips, and cheese as suggested, and it made this a wonderful dinner on a cold night.
soly9800 1 month agoVery easy. My teenagers loved it. I doubled the beans, added onions, green pepper & taco & ranch seasoning while browning the meat. Taco seasoning I used low sodium & spicy ranch dressing. Also used the large cane of diced tomatoes & 1 can tomato sauce.
AmberBradford 1 month agoThis is a wonderful soup and just as good the next day! I did use rotel instead of diced tomatoes. Tonight I will drain it and use the mix for quesadillas!

snoopkeith 2 months agoVery filling everyone loves this stuff. Changed it up. I used some green onions and rotel instead of just regular diced tomatoes. Also used a fiesta ranch mix instead. There's so many things you can vary in this recipe to make it your own. It's a very good quick start.
cookiemaas 2 months agoForgot to mention that I put it in the crock pot after browning beef and onions.
marklarsen 3 months agoSuper easy, and really good. Whoever thought of the ranch dressing mix is a guru, because it really adds to the flavor.

danicb10 4 months agoThis was womderful since its been so cold outside, the beef turned out nearly melt-in-your-mouth tender, we added a little mayo to make it a little creamier but it was delicious
kyleesmom912 4 months agoSo simple yet so delicious!!
Mikhaelab 4 months agoLoved it! Used pizza sauce instead of chopped tomatoes (I am picky!) and made it thicker and used it more like a salsa. Definitely will bring it to the next potluck!
Lady_Tay 4 months agoDelicious! I did read other reviews with their suggestions about the ingredients & tried those & I added a splash of lemon/lime juice & some ground cayenne red pepper to it. My man loved it! Love how many diff flavors you get out of it. You can also wrap some of this dish in a tortilla & eat it as a burrito. Will def make again!
onecrazystitch 7 months agoI think the taco seasoning I used had a lot of salt in it, because it turned out very salty, but my mom and husband, and youngest son all loved it!
caylacakes 10 months agoI added corn and onions as well. So delicious!
