| 4 eaBeef boullion cubes |
| 2 poundsItalian turkey sausage |
| 2 teaspoonGround cumin |
| 1 teaspoonGarlic powder |
| 4 eaonions; chopped |
| 4 eagreen bell peppers; chopped |
| 3 eajalapeno peppers; seeded and minced |
| 2 6.25-oz packageConverted long-grain and wild rice mix |
Spicy Rice Casserole Preparation
Pour 4 cups of boiling water into crockpot that has been set to High. Stir in boullion cubes. Brown sausage, cumin, and garlic powder in skillet. Drain. Add onions and green bell peppers; saute until tender (15 to 20 min). Transfer to crockpot. Stir in jalapeno peppers and rice.
Cover and cook on High 1 hour, then turn to Low and cook 1 to 2 more hours. Serve.
