These are the classic Polish potato pancakes, or "kartoflane placki" as the Poles say. Easy to make and delicious.
"This is a nice recipe and will work fine for a family member who can't have onion. Personally I prefer it with and did add 1/4 grated onion. I used a hand grater so that took a little longer. I served it with bacon and apple sauce."

Ingredients
Polish Potato Pancakes Preparation
Squeeze and poor out excess moisture in the grated potatoes. Add the ingredients and beat well. Heat oil in skillet. With spoon, drop mixture in hot oil and spread as thinly as possible. Fry on both sides.
Drain pancakes on absorbent paper. Serve with sour cream or syrup.
