Crunchy and moorish. Can be sticky but truly irresistible . Perfect treat to take off the hungry feeling between meals. Good source of fiber depending on which porridge oats used.
Need a good set of teeth for these- a firm favorite of mine when visiting my Uncle Victor and Aunty Joyce.

Flap Jacks Preparation
Melt margarine, syrup and sugar on a very low heat in a medium saucepan.
Lightly grease a swiss roll tin.
When well combined then press firmly into a swiss roll tin.
Bake at 350 gas or electric. No need to preheat oven.
Bake for 20 minutes until firm.
