Original recipe makes 72
1 cButter Or Margarine; Soft
1 cGranulated sugar
1 cBrown Sugar; Firmly Packed
2 Eggs
1 tsVanilla
2 cAll-Purpose Flour; sifted
1 tsBaking soda
3/4 tsSalt
3 cQuaker Oats; Uncooked, Quick Or Old-Fashioned
6 ozSemi-Sweet Chocolate Pieces
1/2 cWalnuts; chopped

George's Chocolate Chip Cookies Preparation

Directions:

Beat butter and sugars together until creamy. Blend in eggs andvanilla.

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; blendwell. Stir in oats, chocolate pieces, and walnuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls ontoungreased cooky sheets.

Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 F.) 10 to 12minutes.
