1. Cook green beans as directed on bag. Drain; return to saucepan or place in serving bowl.

2. Meanwhile, in a 1-qt saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic; cook 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.

3. Pour garlic butter over cooked green beans, stir to coat. Sprinkle with cheese; toss gently.
