Kids love these and they enjoy helping to make them.
"Been making Oreo balls for a while and they are phenomenal!! I don't mix the white and dark chocolates though - do some of each and the white chocolate ones are far superior to the chocolate. Actually have a friend that put the Oreos and cream cheese in a food processor to make the mix creamy smooth - excellent - on the fence though about the smooth texture versus the hand crushed crunchiness of the others, so I've turned it into a mix and match game!"- PrincessNaeNae

Mix the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and place on wax paper. Put in freezer to cool for about 1 hour. Melt the two chocolates and dip the balls into the chocolate and place back on wax paper to cool. Let balls harden in refrigerator until ready to serve.

aprilqueen 1 month agoMade these before but not from this site. We just call them truffles. We use 1 package oreo, 1 8oz cream cheese, and BAKERS chocolate for dipping. Then use extra cookie crumb, white chocolate drizzle, coco powder, or crushed nuts for decorating. Awesome for holiday gifts, bake sales, or cookie exchange. People request them.

KBlue7415 4 months agoToo much cream cheese compared to Oreos. Next time I'll use 8 oz.
kathy2296 5 months agoI found it tasted better with 1 pkg of Oreos & 4oz. Of cream cheese. The recipe on here tasted too sweet and creamy. Also if you leave some of the cookie crumbs and add it once you've dipped the Oreos in either melted chocolates (to the tops of Oreo balls ) for a nice little finishing touch.
