Sausage Casserole
Original recipe makes 8
| 2 lbssausage |
| 1 Onion; chopped |
| 1 canwater chestnuts; sliced |
| 1 cupcelery; diced |
| 5 cupsWater |
| 1 packageUncle Ben's Wild and long Grain Rice |
| 2 packagesLipton's Chicken Noodle Soup mix |
| 1 cancream of mushroom soup |
| 1 canmushrooms |
| 1 packagealmonds; sliced |
Sausage Casserole Preparation
Brown sausage and add onion and celery. Set aside.
Boil water and add the rice and soup packages. Boil for 15 minutes. Add to sausage mixture.
Mix the soup, mushrooms and almonds into the sausage mixture.
Place in casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.
