Original recipe makes 8
| 2 headsleaf lettuce |
| 1 smallcucumber; sliced |
| 1 11-oz canmandarin orange sections; 11 oz can, drained |
| 1 avocado; peeled, pitted and sliced |
| 3 green onions; chopped |
| Dressing: |
| 1/4 cuporange juice |
| 1/2 cupsalad oil |
| 2 tbspsugar |
| 2 tbspred wine vinegar |
| 1 tbsplemon juice |
| 1/4 tspSalt |
Sweet and Sour Tossed Salad Preparation
Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Combine lettuce with cucumbers, avocado, oranges and onion. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
In a covered jar combine the dressing ingredients. Shake well and refrigerate until serving time. Pour over salad and toss.
