Original recipe makes 4
2/3 cupbuttermilk
1/2 cupsour cream
1 large clovegarlic; minced
4 ouncesgorgonzola cheese; crumbled
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 headiceberg lettuce; cut into 6 wedges
3 stripsbacon; cooked until crisp and crumbled
2 tomatoes; preferable Roma, diced

Brio Wedge Salad and Dressing Preparation

To make dressing:

Combine buttermilk, sour cream, garlic, cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve (can be made up to 2 days ahead).

To serve:

Arrange lettuce wedges on 6 chilled salad plates. Spoon dressing over. Garnish with crumbled bacon and chopped tomato.

    The dressing was too thin and didn't hold well onto the wedge. The flavors were right but the dressing left a lot to be desired.
