This chicken pot pie is an easy, tasty dish.
"Liked it for a cozy meal when there is not much in the cupboards and not wanting to go to the store. A frozen bag of Costco chicken helped ( put in 2 chic breasts). I subbed cream of celery bc it was on hand but I think the cream of chicken would be better. I think it could handle 2 cans instead. I did double the topping but I think it soaked up all the juice so I would stick with that but do more soup because I just love the doughiness : ) Next time, won't do vegies with lentel beans in it, as it was not a fav in the house, but it was a good thing to make and will do it again. Cpapenny 2 months agoEasy, as promised. Could use some seasoning, but that is simple to do. Overall, this is a great 'base' recipe.
breezyf 2 months agoSuper fast & easy!! Great for busy nights of the week! The only part I got complaints about is that maybe the crust was a bit hard.
lefponk 2 months agoUsed 2 cans cream of chicken, 3/4 can cream of mushroom, 1.5 cups frozen diced hash brown, 1 cup fresh celery, 1/2 can each corn and green beans, added salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders. Season chicken when cooking. Doubled the bisquick. 30 minutes was perfect.

sjtyler_2003 4 months agoIt was good. I'm not much of a cook and it was easy to make. I put 2 cans of cream of chicken but would put even more next time. I would also add more salt and pepper.
