I juuuust made this chicken pot pie! I haven't dug in yet but it looks and smells deeeelicious! Was very easy to make. I used pork chops (don't ask!) and a can of chicken breast! A also added 2/3 of a can of cream of mushroom . After I taste I'll leave another review
Indescribably delicious. I used a large can of cream of chicken soup, added hash browns and onions along with sour cream and seasonings. Also added shredded cheese to the crust. Definitely will make over and over again.
To the australian who never heard of bisquick, i make my own using two cups flour, 4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt,, 2 tsp sugar, 1/2 powdered milk, and 1/2 cup shortening. If you double or triple this "master mix" , it will keep one month in an airtight container in the refrigerator or can be frozen. Great for pancakes also.
This is so easy! Always avoided it thinking it was super hard but once I found this recipe I can't wait for winter to get here I think that's the best time to have it. Really good only problem was I might put more chicken soup next time. Still a great recipe especially for beginners.
Cooked vegetables and chicken (separate of course) before adding together. Doubled the recipe and added extra cream of chicken and extra bisquick (and added butter to the bisquick). I added some seasoning and it came out perfect!! Family LOVED it.
