Potato Soup

Ready in 30 minutes

This is one of the best winter comfort-foods!

"This soup was delicious! I added about 1/4-1/2 c. celery and about 3 Tbsp. sour cream along with 1 tsp. dry onion mix and herbs. When it came to letting to soup simmer, I left the soup on for about 4-5 hours. To serve I added grated old cheddar and bacon as a garnish. It turned out creamy and tender. A wonderful comfort food!"

This is a lovely, comforting basic soup. Very filling, very cheap and really tasty. I also added some chopped celery and a sprig of rosemary while cooking and served the soup with hot buttered toast and a sprinkle of grated cheddar.
