Original recipe makes 12
2 Eggs
3/4 cupwhite sugar
1 tspCornstarch
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 cupmelted butter
1 tbsplemon juice
1 tspvanilla
1 1/2 cupsdesiccated coconut
1/2 cupraspberry jam

Fern Tarts Preparation

In a mixing bowl mix all ingredients together except jam.

In each tart shell put small amount of jam and the mixture on top of the jam

Bake at 350F for 20min

Eat when cool

You've left out the most important part from which this dessert gets its name....the 'fern'icing'

i make this all of the time and cant ever keep any for even 1 full day as soon as my family finds out i have made these poof they disappear but they are soooooooooo good i even mix the jams just fro variety they are a 10 in my household
