Original recipe makes 8
2 Eggs; slightly beaten
1 1/2 cupspumpkin
1 cupSugar
1/2 tspSalt
1 tspcinnamon
1/4 tspginger
1/8 tspcloves
1 2/3 cupsevaporated milk; or light cream

Pumpkin Pie Preparation

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 425 degree for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 30 to 35 minutes. If glass pie plate is used, reduce the oven temperature 25 degrees.
