Absolutely the best carrot cake ever, hands down!!!
"This is the best carrot cake recipe EVER! I made this for my mum today for mothers day and i was deciding between 2 recipes, and im glad i picked this! i was unsupervised in the kitchen and made it like it said but i only used 1 cup of veg oil and i used a sprinkling of nut meg. it says add half a cup of chopped nuts, use walnut. Grammy Sawtelle's Carrot Cake Preparation
Mix sugar, vegetable oil and eggs until a creamy consistency. Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, grated carrots and nuts. Mix well and pour into cake pan of your choice.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
