My dad's favorite banana bread is simple, moist and taste wonderful. I believe the recipe is adapted from one of my mom's Betty Crocker cookbooks.

Absolutely wonderful! Made this for breakfast and they were demolished! I substituted buttermilk for cream and milk and it was delicious! Thank you : )

This was the BEST banana bread I've ever made. I used very ripe bananas that I had peeled and frozen until I was ready to use them.

Fabulous. I sub the buttermilk for any yoghurt, fruit or vanilla. Also split the batch & there's easily enough for 6 muffins without walnuts for my 5yo. this recipe makes me look like im really good at baking!

Delicious! I made this recipe twice this week - the first time I toasted the nuts and didn't like it. The second time I skipped toasting the nuts and cooked it a little less, and it turned out great! Received lots of compliments!

I baked this using smaller baking pans. I added cashews instead of walnuts and had my husband try the first bite. He loved it so much he ended up eating a whole pan.
What's funny is, he's not into banana breads.

Very good. I deviated from my normal banana bread recipe and made this one. It turned out quite well.

It smelled sooo good that I couldn't wait for this to cool- and it tasted even better!
I used 1/4 c. Toasted, chopped pecans so it wouldn't be overpowered with nuts - &&andsubstitutedsour cream for

Love this recipe! I don't use walnuts though. I add chocolate chips instead. Very yummy! And I double the recipe for two loaves.

I added mini chocolate chips and used sour cream as a substitute for the buttermilk. My daughter loves and so do the neighbors! Excellent and easy recipe.
