Mix flour, sugar, and salt together.
Cut butter into small pieces.
Using a pastry cutter blend butter into flour mixture until it looks like small peas.
Sprinkle water into mixture then toss with a fork until it forms into a ball.
Roll out and place in pie pan.

JenKiki 11 month agoI used this crust for a chicken pot pie and it was amazing. I didn't add the sugar, and it was flaky and buttery delicious. I did need a few extra tablespoons of water though, just to pull it together.

Vallerys 1 year agoI have even used this with my mixes of gluten free flour, and it works. However, the gluten free flour falls apart easily while shaping it.

Worker62 1 year agoAwesome and simple. First try and it was a Thanksgiving day hit with pumpkin pie. I would only change by reducing or omitting salt, since I used salted butter.
