tamrazumba ,Since I don't own a crock pot yet (yes, I am the only one on earth I think), this was a great recipe idea for on the stove. I made a few alterations, as I don't measure my veggies so well, but it came out amazing! Thank you for sharing. This was delicious.11y
stanporter1 ,I love this. I added sliced baby bella mushrooms, sliced my garlic thin and added a pinch of red pepper flakes which complemented this dish nicely. Also I used stir fry beef which after seasoning, I coated with flour. It needed only an hour simmer time to get tender. At the end, I thickened the broth with 2 tablespoons of corn starch mixed with a little water. My stomach is still smiling.12y
iti168800 ,Try this recipe today, taste great, and then after add two shot of crow Royal whiskey in there to give it some kick. Taste excellent now!!!12y
xdivax ,Good basic stew recipe, however not being a seasoned chef I had to search on how to make a 'rue' might want to add that into your recipe for those of us who are not that experienced.12y
bluerock ,Good stew recipe. However, I used Deer tenderloin with extra carrots & celery. I didn't feed any to the dog cause it made more for me that way.12y
duschee ,Too much broth for my definition of stew. I pulled off half the liquid before thickening. Otherwise a good basic stew, but I'd prefer something with more interest.12y
dbldwn ,This was a very good and easy recepie to follow. I added some flour to thicken it up, but it tasted great!13y
whitedove ,So good!!!! Great anytime of the year. I doubled the recipe. Family loves this. Easy to make too.13y
oilymouth ,Really really enjoyed making this. And eating it of course. Everyone thought it was delicious. I modified the recipe slightly by coating the meat with flour after seasoning. Helped thicken the broth.14y
