A rich and creamy backed Macaroni & Cheese recipe. Everyone should have a recipe like this in their repertoire.

1. Bring a large port of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for about 8 minutes, leave it al dente. Drain well and return to pot.
2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 8 TBS of butter; stir into the macaroni.
3. In a large bowl, combine all the cheeses and mix well.
4. Preheat the oven to 350.
5. Add the half-and-half, 1 1/2 cups of cheese mixture, cubed processed cheese and eggs to the macaroni. Mix and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a lightly greased deep 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and 1 TBS of butter.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.

rose219 6 months agoThis was very good. My significant other doesn't like Velveeta, so I substituted it with Salsa Con Queso and also added tuna to it. I will definitely be making this again!
platinumdiva 7 months agoWow this is Mac and cheese! Rich and very buttery. I used all cheeses called for except subbed gouda for the Monterey Jack. It was incredible. I will make this again but will most likely cut the butter called for by a couple tablespoons. All in all great recipe.
dunechica 8 months agoBest mac and cheese ever! I added 2 ingredients which made this fantastic dish awesome!! Pepper jack cheese and topped it off with crushed pretzels tossed in melted butter!! Thank you for your yummy recipe!!

Whtdov 11 month agoGreat taste & easy to make! Even my husband couldn't get enough of it & he does not like Mac&cheese or pasta or cheese. Made it 2 years in a row for Thanksgiving & Christmas! Even if u just use Cheddar alone with velveeta it tastes great!
