For those of you saying that this dish isn't cheesy enough you're crazy!!!! THE CHEESIEST macaroni and cheese I've ever eaten or prepared, and it was fantastic!!! The texture of the cheese once the dish is finished baking looks a little strange, but the flavor is so explosive and tasty!
Best recipe I have ever had for mac n cheese! I make it without the egg due to a food allergy and it still works perfect, it is creamier. I have also used the blend of gouda, muenster, gruyere and sharp cheddar as the cheese combo and it is delicious!
Absolutely loved it. Made it tonight for my family. I had no idea what half an half is (I don't think we have it in South Africa) so I used about half the amount of cream instead. Also used garlic salt and breadcrumbs. Was delicious. Thank you :)
