Original recipe makes 12
5 cansevaporated milk
5 canswater; (use the empty evaporated milk can as a measure)
3/4 cupcocoa; (dilute in some of the milk)
8 ozbaking chocolate
2 tbspcorn starch; (dilute in a little water or milk)
3/4 cupSugar
1 tspvanilla extract
1 tspbutter; (for shine)

Chocolate de Navidad Preparation

Shave or grate the chocolate. Bring milk and water to a boil. Whisk in the cocoa, baking chocolate, sugar, and vanilla. Simmer, then add the corn starch, when thickened, remove from heat and add the butter. Serve hot.
