| 1 poundGround beef |
| 1 cupOnions; chopped |
| 2 clovesGarlic; minced |
| 14 1/2 oz canDiced tomatoes |
| 6 oz canTomato Paste |
| 28 oz canTomato Puree |
| 1/4 cupParsley |
| 3 tablespoonsBrown sugar |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 1 1/2 teaspoonsOregano |
| 1/4 teaspoonThyme |
| 1 Bay leaf |
| 1/2 cupItalian Bread Crumbs; for meatballs |
| 1 teaspoonGarlic Salt; for meatballs |
| 1 teaspoonItalian Seasoning; for meatballs |
| 1/2 cupGrated Parmesan Cheese; for meatballs |
Janet's Spaghetti Sauce Preparation
Mix ground beef and sausage, add bread crumbs,parmesan cheese, garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Make meatballs and brown in skillett.
In separate pot add other ingredients, add meat to sauce and simmer on low for 30 minutes or longer.
