I have always just saut?ed them, but with the extra steam at the end they are fantastic and so pretty!
I used a third of a teaspoon of dried thyme. Worked fine.
Loved it. Wish I would have found this when I was pregnant, I would crave green beans with a lot of butter. This would have been much healthier. And my daughter is now 1yr and a few months she really like them too she ate several. Thanks for sharing.
I was short a few ingredients but even without the lemon and thyme it was absolutely delicious!
it was good but I found the thyme a bit strong.
Great easy green bean recipe. Can use a hint of parmesan cheese to compliment the sour of the lemon.
Should have used less butter... had a greasy taste. I will try again.
This recipe is great! I only did 1/2 the butter and twice the lemon though. PS.. it took 30 minutes to cook though!
