1/2 teaspoonblack pepper

Andy's "Better Than Jimmy's" Baby Back Ribs Preparation

Preheat gas grill to high.

Remove skin from back of ribs. Rub both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Turn off 1/2 of grill and turn other side to low.

Place ribs on off side of grill, bone side (where skin was) down

Mix together remaining ingredients for basting sauce.

Cook ribs indirectly for 2 hours then begin basting with sauce every 10-15 minutes for an additional hour. You may want to move them to the heated side of the grill for the last 10 minutes or so, but be CAREFUL. They can burn very quick at this stage.

These are not fall off the bone melt in your mouth texture. They are tender but still have a meaty texture. Most seem to really like them. If you want fall off the bone ribs, talk to Jimmy! [I posted this recipe.]
