This Buttercream Frosting is a great frosting for cakes and cupcakes. Smooth and creamy.

"My cupcakes got rave reviews when I made them with this frosting recipe. It's super easy to make and worth skipping the canned frosting for. I used a large star tip to pipe the icing on (add more powdered sugar if it is not thick enough). I was able to frost 12 regular sized cupcakes and about 15 mini cupcakes with one batch. I used unsalted sweet cream butter which almost gives it a flavor similar to sour cream--way good. I didn't add salt. It turned out great and everyone loved it! This recipe is definitely staying in my family! Thank you so much!"

Didn't taste right........ I WILL NOT USE THIS RECIPE AGAIN! I didn't think it was grate, sorta too sweet. P.s- I'm sorry Im not being very nice, but it didn't tast good.

Added some extra sugar to thicken it up, and some raspberry preserves, fantastic! A great quick go to basic recipe.

I added almost a cup and a half of icing sugar in order to pipe it, it was delicious!!

delicious, sweet and perfect on chocolate cupcakes!!! I added about half a cup extra of icing sugar to thicken it up so I could pipe it!! definitely never making cupcakes without this again!
