Pizzelles From Angelett Preparation
Add ingredients in order listed mixing well after each addition. Be sure the butter is not too hot before adding. If you like thicker pizzelles then increase the flour to 3 cups. I find that 2 1/2 cups works great for large eggs. You can use less Anise Extract, my family and I like them with a lot of anise flavor. Heat the pizzelle waffle maker and drop spoonfuls in the middle of the grill and cook 2 at a time for about 1 minute until golden brown. I trim the excess of the edges with a pizza cutter. You can sprinkle with confectioners sugar if you like.
