Fantastic! Now the pasta is a side and the meatballs are the focus!

These have good flavor, but marrying into an Italian family it's hard to compare. Next time I will just put directly into sauce and not bake them first. I would also add less ground pork. These are good though!

The best meatballs I've ever made. I followed directions 100% and will never change them! Perfect!

Phenomenal. These had the taste and texture of something from a really high end Italian restaurant.

Best meatballs I have ever had! My husband also thought so too! I loved the moistness and soaking the crumbs was a great way to keep them moist. This will be shared and used many times. Thank you.

HOLY MOLY!!! These are the best meatballs ever!! I have been looking for a recipe for these for a long time. Everywhere you go the meatballs have no favor and are just hard little balls. These were so easy. Full of favor. The hubby is SOOO picky. He loved them. Can't wait to make these again!!!

This is an awesome recipe! So flavorful and delicious, the aroma fills your home. The ultimate family dinner. I serve mine over rigatoni with marrinara sauce. Any left overs we eat on Subs. So good!!! Perfect appetizer to take along in a crock pot!

Very easy, great balance of flavor between spices and meat.

After trying this, I can't believe all the positive reviews. The actual method itself for this recipe is awkward and strange...if the bread crumbs have to sit in milk for 20 minutes, how is that not first on the list?? Also, I have never heard of soaking the crumbs in milk, and will never do it again. I wound up with a heavy glob of crumb/milk mixture that I couldn't properly mix into the meat, which left me with meatballs with pockets of flavorless crumb chunks that were just awful. Maybe I was having a bad kitchen day, but I just didn't understand why these were as bad as they were.

My husband, 2 yr. old son and I loved these meatballs! We used venison instead of beef or pork, and they were really delicious! I will definitely make them again and maybe freeze some. This makes a lot!

Prepared exactly as recipe is written and these are now my favorite meatballs. Baked at 450 for 25 minutes and they were perfect.

I made this, with my own few tweaks based on my family's preferences, and my own time constraints:
* I used 1 lb of ground turkey, and cut the recipe in half
* I didn't have an hour to let the mixture chill in the fridge, so i had it chill in the freezer for about 20 minutes (would recommend a bit longer, in the future)
* I used shredded "italian cheese" blend instead of freshly grated parm. It was gooey, but delish!

* Even with half a recipe, I made about 16 generous-sized meatballs.

I have a husband who's scarcely eaten dinner lately, and a toddler who eats like a bird -- both generously gobbled up the meatballs!! We barely ate the noodles, for wanting to get the most out of the meatballs we had! :o)

These meatballs are amazing!!!! The only thing I did differently is flip the meatballs half way through cooking time, other than that they were awesome and everybody loved them.
