Baked chicken with a fresh cranberry sauce
"Great recipe very easy to do. I used fresh Cranberries from Upper Canada Cranberry Company http://www.uc-cranberries.com. I would serve this one to company. It would be great at Christmas Time."

Ingredients
| 3 wholechicken breasts; skinned, boned & halved |
| 1/2 cuponion; chopped |
| 1 tbspoil |
| 1 cupketchup |
| 1/2 cupbrown sugar; firmly packed |
| 1/2 tsporange peel; grated |
| 1 1/2 cupfresh or frozen cranberries |
Chicken Cranberry Bake Preparation
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 3 quart baking dish. Place chicken breast halves in greased dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium skillet over medium heat, cook and stir onion in hot oil until crisp tender. Add ketchup, brown sugar and orange peel. Blend until brown sugar id dissolved. Stir in cranberries. Spoon over partially baked chicken breasts. Bake an additional 20 minutes or until chicken is tender. Serves 6.
