Original recipe makes 4
1 envelopeunflavored gelatin
3 cupshalf and half
1/2 cupSugar
1 Salt
1 teaspoonVanilla extract

Panna cotta Preparation

1. 1/4 cup of water, sprinkle with gelatin

2. In medium saucepan, combine half and half, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add vanilla and gelatin, stir until dissolved.

3. Divide into serving cups, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Top with maple syrup if desired.
