Sweet and Sour Chicken
Recipes » Main Dish » Poultry - Chicken
Sweet and Sour Chicken....Since my husband and I love Chinese food, I have often tried to duplicate some dishes at home. Sweet and sour chicken or orange chicken is always a favorite So when we crave it, I make this BIG batch that I freeze in batches. The chicken pieces crisps up very nicely in the toaster oven. I often make my own sauce adding orpange peel. But, when I don't have the time I just use a store bought duck sauce. ...like I did in this recipe.
"Mr. Picky Pants loved it! It went together well, I cheated and used good ole sweet and sour sauce. My old neighborhood had a larger Asian demographic, so ingredients were tuff to find, but still turned out great, and unlike packaged frozen food, looked just like the picture! ; D
