1 poundground beef or pork; (454 g)
4 cupselbows macaroni
4 cupsWater
1 cupsoya sauce; (250 mL)
200 gsnow peas
2 onions; sliced in half rings
2 clovesgarlic; cloves, finely chopped
2 tbspsesame seeds
1 tbspExtra-Virgin Olive Oil

Chinese style macaroni with snow peas Preparation

Arrange the peas snow by cutting off both ends.

Heat the oil in a large pan (I use a wok, it's the best for that kind of recipe), brown the onion slices and the garlic. Add the ground meat and cook until it's brown. Add the peas snow, the macaroni elbows, the water, the soya sauce and sesame seeds. Cover it and simmer at a low-medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionnally, or until the macaroni are soft enough and that the sauce got thicker.

If you like soy sauce, this is for you. Snow peas are not normally added before a long simmer. Non-descript, weekday dinner.
