Melt butter in skillet. Add flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add milk and cream mix while stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes while stirring. Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes, keep stirring. Gradually add cheddar and simmer until melted. Mix in cooked macaroni. Put everything in a baking dish. Add a layer of breadcrumbs, as much as you like. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

palaumelissa 3 months agoMine came out grainy and disgusting, I read that adding the cheese while still hot does this, so wait for it to cool before adding.

gmpoliskey 1 year agoMade this dish a few time and its been great everytime....I like to make it for the holidays or if wee go to someones house for a party. Its always a hit with everyone.
