We love these to snack on, and I'm making some today for Super Bowl snacks.
"I made for a Christmas sweater party and it was the first thing gone out of all of the food. I used habanero cheddar cheese instead. I might try rolling a jalapeño pepper on the inside next time for a little more flavor and kick." - nelsonkmYield: 0 Ready in 35 minutes

Party Piggies Preparation
Unroll crescent rolls, and slice into strips. Place one smoked sausage and a little cheese, if desired, into the middle of the strip of crescent dough. Roll it up, and mash to secure. Place seem side down on a baking sheet. Continue this process until all of the dough and smokies are gone. Heat oven to 375 degrees, and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown. Transfer the piggies to a service dish.
Notes
You can add some grated cheese or sliced cheese cut to fit inside each pig. I make some with cheese, and some without.
