| 4 eachpork chops; about 3/4-inch thick |
| 2 tablespoonsVegetable oil |
| 1 cuponion; thinly sliced |
| 1/2 teaspooncaraway seed |
| 1/2 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/2 teaspoonPaprika |
| 1/4 teaspoonGarlic powder |
| 2/3 cupWater |
| 2/3 cupSour cream |
Pork Chops In Sour Cream Sauce Preparation
In a large skillet brown pork chops in vegetable oil. Add onion, caraway seeds, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and water. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 50 minutes, or until pork chops are tender. Transfer pork chops to a warm platter; keep warm. Add sour cream to meat drippings; blend in well. Heat through; do not boil. Spoon sour cream sauce over pork chops.
