Original recipe makes 3
4 Turnips; (up to 5), peeled and diced
2 Apples; (e.g. Granny Smith), peeled, cored and diced
1/4 Onion; chopped
1 tspCoconut Oil or Butter
2 cupswater; (or until ingredients are covered)
Spice Mixture:
1 tbspground coriander
1 tbspground cumin
1 tbspground fennel
1 tbspground mustard seed
1 tbspground cinnamon
1 tbspground ginger
1 tbspground turmeric
1 mix all together store in airtight container for

Turnip and Apple Soup Preparation

In a saucepan, heat Coconut Oil, add chopped onions, cook until glazed, about 3 minutes. Add the Turnip and Apple and cook for about 1 minute. Add 1 Tbs of the spice mixture. Stir. Add water until all ingredients are covered. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. In a food processor or blending device, blend until soup-like consistency.

Salt and Pepper to taste
