Ingredients
| 4 Turnips; (up to 5), peeled and diced |
| 2 Apples; (e.g. Granny Smith), peeled, cored and diced |
| 1/4 Onion; chopped |
| 1 tspCoconut Oil or Butter |
| 2 cupswater; (or until ingredients are covered) |
| Spice Mixture: |
| 1 tbspground coriander |
| 1 tbspground cumin |
| 1 tbspground fennel |
| 1 tbspground mustard seed |
| 1 tbspground cinnamon |
| 1 tbspground ginger |
| 1 tbspground turmeric |

Turnip and Apple Soup Preparation
In a saucepan, heat Coconut Oil, add chopped onions, cook until glazed, about 3 minutes. Add the Turnip and Apple and cook for about 1 minute. Add 1 Tbs of the spice mixture. Stir. Add water until all ingredients are covered. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. In a food processor or blending device, blend until soup-like consistency.
