Ready in 1 hour
Simple, hearty, yet good enough to serve as a simple supper for friends.
"This recipe is delicious! My husband, who hates sweet potatoes, went back for more and ate the leftovers for lunch the next day! We actually like it better with only one can of tomatoes, and seeds from about 1/4 of the jalapeño. It's a little sweeter and spicier that way; perfect balance! Enjoy!"- tself

Hakima87 2 years agoHi the soup looks good, but which type of lentils have you used? As there is a large variety to choose from.
BigDaddyThomas 2 years agoFollowed the recipe exactly. Wife loved it, 7yr old son liked it even more, he ate 3 bowls, usually it's a fight to get him to finish 1. Will be making it again, don't really have a choice.
nannamary 2 years agoVery good soup. It's a keeper. It took longer than 30 minutes for the lentils to cook. Next time I will soak them for a few hours first.

Awhitley 3 years agoThis was GREAT. I only had one can of "fiery" diced tomatoes and no jalapenas. I used some crushed red pepper flakes. It was delicious.
