Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef
Recipes » Main Dish » Slow Cooker
This recipe is from the 'Slow Cooker Recipe Collection' cook book. My family has become extremely picky when it comes to crockpot recipes, but crockpots use very little electricity, and cheaper cuts of meat can be used for the recipes. This one was a hit. It can be put together the evening before cooking, and cook during the day while you're at work. Very easy!
"This was so easy and very tasty! I'm just starting out cooking (at age 30!!!!) and this was a great condfidence booster. Very good flavor!" - AmandakazYield: 12 Ready in 9 hours, 20 minutes

Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef Preparation
Place the roast in a 3.5 quart or larger crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to mix. Pour sauce mixture over the roast. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or 4-5 hours on high. When the roast is fork tender, skim and remove the grease with a large spoon. Remove the roast from the crockpot, and shred it with a fork. Place the shredded meat back into the sauce in the crockpot, and stir to evenly coat the meat with the sauce. Spoon meat onto sandwich buns, and top with additional sauce, if desired.
