MelissaDussault 2 months agoI would probably only half cook the macaroni before throwing it into the slowcooker... they ended up super mushy. Even then, the flavor wasn't great. I will keep looking for a great mac and cheese recipe.
tchism1640 5 months agoIt was ok. It cooked fine but all the noodles just broke down into the cheese. I would definitely recommend adding them later on in the slow cooker.
timgraham1 7 months agoWe doubled this recipe and it fit into a large crock pot just fine. We served it at our Wednesday Night Dinner, and it was all eaten by the end of the meal. I was disappointed in the taste, but everyone seemed to enjoy the dish. I will try a higher quality cheese if I do decide to attempt this again. One of the better slow cooker recipes for mac and cheese that I have tried, but I will keep looking all the same.

langsm 1 year agoBoth my wife & I liked it. I do have to admit it seemed like it was lacking of cheddar bite which may explain why it was a little bland. I would do this one again only with slight modifications.

melissacallahanmann 1 year agoThis turned out great. Did not curdle. I did add extra cheese, nutmeg, and garlic and bailey seasonings. Would definetly make it again.

Trast 1 year agoSorry this didn't work for us. I followed the recipe, but the milk curdled and separated. I had read this in other reviews,but thought I would give it a try anyway. Perhaps my crock pot is too hot.
khughson333 1 year agoI also had the problem of curdled milk about 2 hours into baking; not sure if because I used 1% milk; we still ate it, but will try another recipe in future. Also added 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg.
amelia79 1 year agoHad a good flavor but texture made it not very good. Too much milk in it. It curdled while cooking and was just too much of it. I'd definitely recommend using less milk if you try this.
