| 2 tablespoonVegetable oil |
| 1 16-oz canTomato; and liquid |
| 1 cupOnion; chopped |
| 1 1/2 cupWater |
| 3 tablespoonBeef stock; boullioin |
| 1 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce |
| 3/4 teaspoonTarragon |
| 1/2 teaspoonPepper |
| 1/2 teaspoonGarlic powder |
| 2 cupCarrot; sliced or baby |
French Country Beef Stew Preparation
In a large kettle heat oil until hot. Brown 1/2 of the beef, remove and brown the remaining beef. Add all other ingredients except carrots. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender (about 1 hour). Add carrots and simmer til tender (about 20 minutes).
