French Country Beef Stew Preparation
In a large kettle heat oil until hot. Brown 1/2 of the beef, remove and brown the remaining beef. Add all other ingredients except carrots. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender (about 1 hour). Add carrots and simmer til tender (about 20 minutes).
