Place corn syrup in a shallow bowl. Combine the blue and green sugars, Dunk one end of a vanilla wafer in the corn syrup, shake off excess syrup, dredge in sugars. Place wafers on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Round off cornes of the cake. Cut out a kidney shape in center of cake and remove 1/2 inch of cake to make pool. Place 3/4 can of frosting into a bowl and tint blue for water. PLace remaining frosting into a zip top bag and snip off a corner for piping. Frost sides of ccake and top (except for pool area with the 2nd can of frosting. Frost inside of pool with blue frosting, place wafer cookies (sugar side up) waround edge of cake. Cut candy bars into squares and rectangles and place on top of cake to look like tiles around the pool. Pipe bagged brosting along edge of pool . Trim licorice and pool for the stair railings. Trim a red sugar wafer for diving board. Rrim colored wafer cookies to make lounge chairs, using frosting to secure. PLace candy balls and plastic palm trees aroundpool.
