plinko85 ,This was excellent. I needed it done sooner than 7 hours, so I cooked it in the oven at 350F for 2.5 hours. Our menu was Roast, with Rice on the side and Cole Slaw. This is a keeper recipe.8y

I made this tonight and it was out of this world. I had to alter the recipe a bit though. I used just 1 cup of the brown sugar, stone ground mustard and rice wine vinegar. Next time I wouldn't add as much water either. About 2 hours before it was done I added a can of sauerkraut, sliced apples and onion. The sauerkraut picked up the flavors of the seasonings in the juice.

brownbagel ,Haven't tasted it yet (gave it 3 stars because I have to rank to post) but I'm presuming the recipe calls for just 1/3 cup of brown sugar and not 1-1/3 cups as it might seem. Could be the reason some users claim it is too sweet...11y
jtdancer123 ,Love it!!! It almost tastes like ribs. Anyways, it was quick and easy to prepare, I had all of the ingredients already, and it cooked in the slow cooker while I cleaned. Best part is my hubby, 2 yr old, my dad, and I ALL liked it. That's hard to accomplish. Again, love it!!!11y
