Servings
Original recipe makes 15
4 bananas; very ripe
4 egg whites
6 tablespoonsnatural peanut butter
6 packetsSplenda
5 scoopslow carb protein powder
1 dashcinnamon
1 teaspoonvanilla
3 cupsold fashioned oats
3/4 cupHershey's Mini Chocolate Chips; (if you can't find mini, chop up the larger kind), reserve a few tablespoons

Terri's Homemade Protein Bars Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take the bananas and smash them up... looks gross, I know. Add egg whites, peanut butter, splenda, protein powder, cinnamon and vanilla. Work the peanut butter mixture. It could be a little lumpy, but that's ok. Add the oats, then the chocolate chips. Spread mixture into a 9 X 13 inch baking pan sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle top with a few more chocolate chips. Bake for 20-30 minutes. (I like mine a little underdone)

I made this tonight and it was a bust. :( The texture was like cardboard. I won't be making this again
