Country Corn Bread
This light and tasty corn bread is great for breakfast. My husband likes it with sugar and milk. We grow and grind our own corn, which makes it taste even better!
"I myself do not like corn bread but my boyfriend and youngest son do so I figured it was time to try my hand on making it for them instead of relying on others to make it for them. I made this tonight and I couldn't believe the raves I got about it. My oldest son (who is one of the pickiest eaters in the world) even loved it. So I will definitely have to give it a 5 star rating."

Ingredients
| 1/4 cupbutter; melted |
| 1/2 cupsugar |
| 3/4 cupcorn meal |
| 3/4 cupall-purpose flour |
| 1 1/2 tspbaking powder |
| 1/4 tspsalt |
| 1 Egg; lightly beaten |
| 3/4 cupmilk |
Country Corn Bread Preparation
Melt butter in medium bowl, in the microwave. Add sugar, corn meal, flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine egg and milk, add to other ingredients. Mix by hand until blended. Pour into greased 8"X8"X2" baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
