This is similar to the way your favorite resteraunt makes sauce, you can also use fresh ginger instead of powdered, use on chicken, baste while cooking

| 1/4 cupSoy sauce |
| 1 cupWater |
| 1/2 teaspoonginger; ground |
| 1/4 teaspoongarlic powder |
| 5 tablespoonspacked brown sugar |
| 1 tbsphoney; (up to 2) |
| 2 tablespoonscornstarch |
| 1/4 cupCold water |
Lisa's Teriyaki Sauce Preparation
Mix all but cornstarch and 1/4c water in a sauce pan and begin heating.
Mix cornstarch and cold water in a cup and dissolve. Add to sauce in pan.
Heat until sauce thickens to desired thickness.
Add water to thin if you over-thicken it :).
