Ann's Cheesy Crock Pot Potatoes

Recipes »  Side Dish  »  Potatoes

Just throw it in the crockpot and enjoy. Great for potlucks too!

"I made this for our small group from our church. After I added the package of hash brown I was afraid that it wouldn't be enough. So I cut up about four additional potatoes (very finely) and added it. I also cooked it in the crock pot on low for more like 3.5 hours and stirred it once. The cheese was more mixed in, but it still tasted amazing!" - achelian

Very cheesy, I grated the onion and used cream of onion soup instead of the cream of mushroom. Turned out great!

Simple to make. Takes longer than 3 hours though. Next time I will remember to add salt to taste.

These were pretty tasty. It does take longer than the 3 hours. My thinly sliced onions (used mandolin), were not fully cooked however, next time I will caramelize prior to adding to the crock.

The whole family loved these! I didn't have hash browns so I shredded some potatoes and made my own. Cooked for almost 4 hours and it turned out great~ everyone had more than one serving!

Low setting for 3 hours wasn't enough. Either crank the heat or leave it in longer. Flavour was good though.
